KEOS Old Guard Checking in..........
A quick post: We have located Jon Swett, Ralph Gould, heard more from Clint Wager, Dennis Alvord, Tony Armenta, and Jerry D. Spears. We have noted some really great stories, many not known before.... Hopefully we can get them to you as we gather more material. "And the Hits Just Keep on Happening on the Mightly 1290!"

Hope you'll allow someone from the "690" days in on the fun. I was with KEOS from '70-'73 working with Tony, "Alvie", Ralph Gould, Steve Zind, Bob Polk, Eric Michael and even filled in for Margaret a few times! Many thanks for putting together this memory-filled site. The pay was low, the nights were cold but the memories are fantastic. All the best!

Ken I was there from 71 - 73. Do you remember when on your last day at work just before you went on the air, I talked Eric in to dedicating his last song to you which was Roy Clark "Thank God and Greyhound You're Gone"? You totally lost your composure laughing so hard that you could barely announce your first song? On another note, I never had to fill in for Margaret (thank God) but during my time there I filled in for everyone else at one time or another! I am glad to know that as of 2010 you are still around. God Bless.
